That means either Gaudreau missed Wideman by 5 feet on the wrong side with nobody in his face, or he was playing Enstrom. Or luck

Wideman doesn't attempt to take the pass because he is bad at the game of hockey outside of his specialized wheelhouse—blasting pucks from the point.
