I think impatience and a lack of courtesy initiated the problem, it's been an issue since my first flight many years ago.

I like to have a pint or snack before my flight so I prefer the Call To Gate systems as it allows me to relax longer in the establishment and provides a greater pool of establishments from which I can pick.
