I believe in rehabilitation, but I also believe that prison should be a place that you never want to go to twice.

I'm not saying that there should be institutionalized beatings and rapes and stuff like that.

But I firmly believe that rock crushing hard labor sentences should come back.

I believe that if your in prison, when you're not in a classroom or job training course, that you should either be crushing rocks or doing some other unpleasant activity.

Rehabilitation has to go hand in hand with deterrence.
