Sweet game by the Flames - a few moments of carelessness, but either Ramo/Brodie bailed them out or the puck died in the crease.
Ferland was great - though he seems to be under instructions to make a play and then head directly to the bench. Had he not done so at one point, he might have peeled the other way and picked up a loose puck in front of the Jets net - maybe even picking up a goal. That's OK - he keeps it simple and tough, and I like how he's maturing. A bit of a pleasant surprise.
Like someone else said - Bouma gets a pass. A bit rusty, but you can see the desire.
Johnny = unbelievable determination. I don't think that he ever gives up on a puck. Sure, sometimes he overplays it, but there is no one better at loose puck picking. Thought that play was dead, and he makes something out of absolutely nothing. Amazing. We are SO lucky to have him to watch and cheer for.
