Just had to look out the window to make sure my baby is still there. OK, I had much the same situation. I found as many pictures of my bike I could to show it off and found similar bikes in the want adds. My bike was used and I spent about $6,000 for it two years previous. I think I got $6000 in the settlement. Include any upgrades you've done and any bills you may have. Terrible thing to have happen, but good luck with the insurance and start thinking about a replacement. That's always fun and prices are better come winter.

Those blue book prices seem very low, maybe American numbers. They should have to use the Calgary market but I've found the prices here in BC to be higher than Calgary, so use whatever is best.
