RW David Jones is a UFA as well next year.
Jones has 7 goals and 12 pts NOT playing a lot with Monahan and Gaudreau
Hudler has 5 goals and 18 pts.....
I would have to guess that he has a lot of assists that he did little to earn by moving the puck to Monahan and/or Gaudreau (24 goals).
Jones does not get a whole lot of easy pts by the offensive wizardry of of his linemates, Stajan and Colbourne (total of 5 goals).
Sign Hudler to a 2 yr 3M yr deal or Jones to a 2x2?
