Agreed that it makes a difference but you just kind of get used to the controller for whatever system you own after a while. I played hundreds of hours on my old Xbox of Ghost Recon and loved that controller. Then switched to PS2 and it felt odd at first because of the change in joystick position but and after many hours of SSX, I was used to it.

For the PS3 and Xbox 360, I owned both systems and switched back and forth between titles for the systems and just became used to them both. I did prefer the PS3 controllers to the Xbox 360 but I imagine it's just because I played online almost exclusively with the PS3.
