I really wonder at the incompetence of the First Order and how they could even manage to build a giant super weapon given that there exists a Republic with a giant navy somewhere in the galaxy, how long it takes to build one of these things and the obvious discipline problems with their engineers, staff and soldiers. You'd think the Republic would have come and crushed these guys many times over already in the time the weapon would have taken to complete. Seems to be a few holes here. Also Rey being able to just suddenly channel the force to become stronger than Ren was rather convenient when she had no training either... just suddenly became a super fighter very quickly. Could have been written a bit better there. Everything just seemed rather convenient.
Some obvious holes. Still, movie was entertaining enough.
