I've definitely turned more Flames fan and less hockey fan over the last two years. A large part of it is that the game is so homogeneous across the league. Almost every team is playing a very similar cycle system that's it's a little boring. Add the same playstyle across the league to all the shot blocking, a way better overall defensive game and huge goalies and it doesn't exactly scream excitement.
