I need a new Bluetooth device since my old one was taken by the wife for her new truck.

Since I use my cellphone from my desk as well, I was thinking of just getting a headset and using it in all situations. I listen to a lot of podcasts when I drive, so would like it to be able to listen audio from my phone ( or even laptop) as well.

My main concerns are battery life and audio quality, but comfort is obviously a consideration.

Is a headset the best option? How about those Bluetooth speakers with microphones? Is there a decent set of over the ear headphones that I could wear just one ear of while I was driving?

Hope to send my wife out Christmas shopping with some ideas in the next couple days, so advice would be welcome.
