Yes, tons. There is a growing middle class (both blacks and whites) and there is a lot of integration. In fact, at first glance, you wouldn't even know apartheid took place. However, as you scratch the surface, there definitely still lie racial tensions. Townships still house the majority of the poor though and the working class of the country.
