I don't disagree they've had communication and the relationship seems good, that's not my point. I'm arguing against the "character" issue of college players not signing. These college players have received little or nothing from the team that drafted them and don't owe the team that drafted them much if anything. From an ethical perspective there's nothing wrong with choosing the best chance for an NHL career. The difference between an NHLer and a career minor leaguer is often opportunity. Can't blame someone for choosing that
