I watched an interview with Filioni that talks about the last half of the season, and they did hint at the confrontation that everyone is waiting for, which means Ashoka versus Vader.

It was funny watching Ashoka against the Inquisitors, she basically didn't have much problems with them. It just goes to show that the Inquisitors are probably Padawan level at best, even the Grand Inquisitor had struggles agaisnt Kanaan who never achieved his Jedi Knight trial.

Basically the Inquisitors might be strong in the Force but they aren't trained beyond what they need, and would never be a threat to a true Jedi Knight or Sith Lord.

Ashoka versus Vader can only work in one possible way. She has to confirm that he is Anakin (I think she knows it deep down), she has to be slaughtered by Vader not spared.
