Does anyone know if Burke has ever indicated that his extended Christmas no-trade policy also included waiving players? As this policy is based on a doing what's right for the player, they may avoid putting a player on waivers (and potentially being claimed) during this period for the same reason they put trades on hold. If so, Granlund would be the one going down, deservedly or not.
