It was very bad, me and a buddy could have sued for damages to our bodies and the hotel could have sued us for destroying a bunch of tables,chairs,bar mirror, booze and even 2 pinball machines plus the loss of the unfriendly giant bartender/bouncer for at least a month.
Different times back then, Get this, the cops actually brokered a deal that nobody gets charged if we agreed to never to set foot in the place again.
