If you are Tampa Bay are you better with Stamkos at $10+ million cap hit, or with that cap money to spend elsewhere + the King's Ransom you would get in return for him at the trade deadline.
In this cap era they may be better suited to try to reinvest that money.

He's got a NMC though I think. Plus they wanna win the cup. If he leaves, I think it's far more likely be plays the season out as that's probably what both sides would want
