At my cousins' house and one of her firends came over and installed the wireless router yesterday. Set up the network and my cousin's laptop connects to this network 100%. Only problem is that the internet doens't work on the laptop or the CPU that is hard-wired. The set up is as such....A network cord connecting the MODEM to the ROUTER'S WAN port. Then another network cord(all be it a sketchy one) going from PORT 1 on the router to the CPU.

Any idea's how I can fix this problem????
Telus or Shaw?

I'll bet that it is Telus. If so then you need to log onto the router and clone the mac address of the computer that previously connected to the modem. Either that or register the mac address of the router on telus' oca site (which you can get to even if you don't connect to internet)

Just to be safe, make sure that the cable is securely connected to both the modem and the router.
