It's always great for me to come here and chat politics, because even the more conservative posters on CP are relatively to the left of most people I encounter in regular everyday life here in suburban Southwestern PA.

The town I work in is nicknamed "Guntown," for God's sake.

Every time I realize the way US politics looks to the rest of the world, I feel a little bit ashamed to be from here.
