The 107ist non-profit arm of the Timbers Army does a ton to support the community in Portland. The amazingly talented creators of the tifo, as well as the merchandise created for the TA. Get on our level, please! It'll only make the league better.

It's seriously amazing, and I recommend it for everyone!
Our first trip, the 4 of us got our Timbers gear the day before the game. The next day, in line for the army, we had Canada shirts over top. When we saw some Whitecaps fans getting heckled, we pretended to come to their defense before ripping off our shirts revealing our Timbers gear underneath. One of my friends also got a Timbers axe tattoo the day before. It's now turned into an annual trip of football and tattoos (3 of us have matching rose tattoos as of last year). We saw Chivas USA last August (after coming for the all-star game as the other 2 guys are Bayern Munich fans) and SKC in October this year. The SKC game had the most disappointing atmosphere of all 3, and it was still better than almost anything you see in a North American sport.
