You really can't go wrong with a Vitamix or Blendtec. With the Ninja you are getting what you pay for. It's a decent blender, but they are made cheaply and like to use a lot of buzzwords to try and sell them. If you are on the fence I highly recommend checking out the "Blending With Henry" channel on YouTube to get a thorough review and comparison on all 3.

I prefer the simplicity of the Vitamix over the Blendtec and went with Vitamix 7500 earlier this year and love it. No regrets. People scoff at the price usually because they compare it to your average blender. It really does perform at an elite level in comparison and it's going to be a fixture in your kitchen for decades.
