Well if you actually read what I wrote before jumping to conclusions, I said the government's job is to create a suitable environment for job creation. Not directly create jobs. I am definitely a fiscal conservative, but I am definitely not a hypocrite. I don't give a rats ass who is governing if they govern with fiscally conservative policies.
Things like allowing pipelines to be built would help the Alberta economy. NOTE: this is not "fixing" private industry. This is allowing private industry to do their work, and betters the job creation environment. Reducing corporate tax benefits job creation.
I currently have no vested interest in the Alberta economy other than my parents living there and I used to live there, so I have no reason to have a political agenda. I'd just rather see Alberta and Canada flourish. I think the NDP's statement sends the wrong message. Where's the "we will get through this together as Albertans" message?
