So because farmers occasionally help other farmers out, their entire enterprise should be totally exempt from OH&S regulations? So my buddy is a plumber, occasionally, he'll get a friend to help him move or install something and he doesn't pay him. So in your world, because that happens, his business should be entirely exempt from OH&S?
I love how the farmers harp this angle too. "We're such a tight nit, awesome culture of love and caring and helping each other out in exchange for hugs and kisses".
What about "Hey, Johnny, broke his arm cause he fell of that ledge over there and can't work for the next month. Well Johnny is #### out of luck, so what if there should have been a railing there. He should know better."
