I'm fully aware of my preferencial bias on this topic, but even in Ramos extended run of starts, he's barely been on par. Hanging by a thread.

He's not going to get better, in fact, in typical Ramos fashion, he will get worse. Its the same for Hiller, but he should get his run.
At the end of the day you need to win some games and Ramo is 4-2-1 in his last seven games (105 point pace).

Hiller is 2-4 (55 pt pace) this season, and should probably be 2-5 (47 pt pace) or 2-4-1 (58 pt pace) as Ortio ended up getting credited with the SOL against the sens, which didn't even feel like it would go to OT with Hiller in net.

I think Hiller > Ramo, but right now it's total nonsense to replace a goalie winning at an over 100 point pace with a goalie winning at a worse-than-last-year's Sabres pace. If Hiller wants the net back, he'll get plenty of opportunities to take it back by playing well. Which, he certainly didn't do against the Sharks.

As for Ramo not getting better, that's debatable. In the second half of 2013-14 he played his most consistent hockey as a Flame. His worst games positioning-wise tend to come after a hiatus.
