This season hasn't gone great but personally I have no issue with growing pains. I see the long term success as most important so if this is what it takes to win a Cup I have no issue with it. Those Iginla years where we were trying to squeek into the playoffs were by far WAAAYYYYYY worse than this could ever be. When they hired Jay Feaster I litterally questioned how much longer I would be a fan. If they didn't start to rebuild the year they did I was pretty close to giving up on the team because their decision making was just leaving me speechless. Now with Burke and Treliving in control I feel really confident that were heading in the right direction and it makes these growing pains a lot easier. With some smart moves, some progress from our youngsters, and a bit of luck I think we could be back to winning some playoffs rounds in 2-3 years time which really would be what most of us would have hoped for a couple years ago.
