I wonder how the "new generation" of fans (not just kids, but those who jumped into the C of Red last year) are doing. Sure, the wins aren't there, but are the likes of Monahan, Gaudreau, and Bennett enough to keep interest high?

I wouldn't be surprised if the rapid fall to earth -- from second round of the playoffs to worst in the league -- is too much for many of the newer fans to stay on board.
