I still watch the games... I suppose I'm a little more distracted than I was last year though during the actual games. I think I put up my tree during the Sharks loss. I've started watching a few games a little late.

I was holding out, hoping, this season would turn around. I think I lost hope at the Hawks loss on the 15th. Hope was kindled with back to back wins, but then it went out the door again.

I've never cheered for losses, nor will I ever, but I do think they officially missed the playoffs. I think actively tanking stains your franchise and basically curses it forever. I would not embrace an active tank job for Mathews.

Contrary to popular belief, failure is not an excellent springboard for success.
