Agreed -- it was like, "surprise, I'm your son and we're not so bad!" and your character just kind of accepts it and is cool with it. No big cool quest, no climactic fight -- you just kind of start doing missions for them. End of story. Meh -- maybe more interesting things will happen throughout the faction quests but we'll see. A bit discouraging.

I disagree. I thought the story was great.

Your character doesn't have to accept it if you don't let him! Try having to kill him when siding with the Brotherhood... The feels!
