What's up with that? There are certain classes of product that can be readily discounted huge amounts (70% or more). Which just suggests that the original retail price was a crock to begin with, and the discounted price should basically be considered "the real retail price". In this category off the top of my head:
-USB flash drives
-Watches
-Cookware (wtf?)
-Luggage sets
I don't get it.
