Hamonic at 25 is not retiring. He has spent most of his life working for and dreaming of playing in the NHL.
He is not giving that up to go play in the local men's league against the x-ray tech playing goalie and the waiter playing first line center
Notice how many teams have tried jumping in on the Hamonic trade?
Strange that none of the GMs of those teams are worried about Hamonic retiring.
