Really what is the point in moving closer to Winnipeg when he would still have to fly home from Edmonton/Calgary every time he wants to go back to the farm?
When you have NHL money you could fly home pretty frequently from anywhere if you really desire it. Does it really make a giant difference, which other NHL city you are in?
Versus playing in Winnipeg where he could commute to the rink from the family farm everyday. I think that must be what he really wants.
