“Getting sent down, it’s always a disappointment,” Ortio, standing in the lobby of the team hotel in Glendale, said Thursday morning. “Starting just two games … obviously, I would have liked to play more. But it’s just a unique situation we’ve had this year.”

“But I don’t think we can (blame) the three-goalie situation every time,” said Ortio. “Yeah, obviously, it is different, but it’s no excuse. It’s not making our lives any harder. It’s just a little bit different. You’ve just got to adapt and deal with it.”
