Default Home Insurance going up

From the "I saw this coming a mile away" file:
Soaring home insurance premiums are about to sock Calgarians in the wallet, thanks to the rising cost of home-building materials and labour.

From July 2005 to July 2006, the average cost of insuring a home in Calgary rose 40% -- mirroring rising building replacement costs monitored by insurance firms, said Jim Rivait, the Insurance Bureau of Canada's western region vice-president.

Luckily my insurance doesn't come due for another 7 months or so.
