Thoughts on last night
Dilana: she sang Roxanne well but I didn't like the arrangement. I do not like her original song at all. Didn't like it the first time and liked it even less this time. And what was with needing a cane for Roxanne (presumably due to her injury last week) and then running all over the place for her song. Also don't get the praise people get for running into the crowd all the time....you aren't going to do that at a real gig.
Toby: didn't like his radiohead song..was pitchy and it wasn't a good performance. I can't stand his original. I knew when i heard it the first time I would hate it by the 5th time I heard it. Make that the third time...I put him on mute halfway through.
Lukas: His Coldplay was OK. He put his voice on it which was good. His original was the highlight of the night. Still that stripped back version pales in comparison to the one you can find on youtube.
Magni: To me he's the onyl one that fits as a member of a real band. Thing is it is abvious SuperNova wants a flashy front person not a member of their band. His chemistry with the house band is great. Once again his vocals were spot on. He is honeslt yht eperson I'd pay to see perform because you know he'll give you an impeccable performance with good, controlled energy and superb musicianship. While Lukas' stripped down original was the highlight for me I think Magni's original is actually the better song lyrically and musically. that Tommy Lee slammed it like he did just shows that Magni hasn't a hope at winning.
Who will win? It's between Dilana and Lukas I think. Still think it'll be Lukas but they seemed to indicate that Dilana pulled herself back into it.
