Not a smart move to approach your owner and tell him that his hirings for GM and coach were dumb moves.
What good could come out of that? Did Crosby expect the owners would take his advice and then hire a new GM an Coach based on Crosby's recommendations?
Likely we're not getting the whole story here. But if Crosby approached his boss's boss's boss to complain, that was not a smart move.
