Want to talk about defense? Sure you can, still at the end of the day a lot of these goals are very stoppable for about 27 other goalies in the league. The goaltender is the last line of defense, is there to stop the puck from going in the net when the defense breaks down. Ramo had his great run, still only came out with what? 5 wins in his 12 starts? Stole 1 of those game for his team. Maybe .....maybe 2.
The Defense is one part of the problem yes, as is the lack of adaptation by the coaching staff. If the problem pie was cut 3 ways, goaltending would be the biggest piece.
