The pace and tone is about the same throughout, although things do get quite violent and intense at times. Stretching the plot out to 13 episodes really hurts the show IMO don't read if you haven't seen season 1

Stretching the plot out to 13 episodes really hurts the show IMO don't read if you haven't seen season 1 Spoiler! the body count piles up and then the way Jessica offs Kilgrave is extremely anticlimactic. FFS if she would have shot Kilgrave in the head first chance she got dozens of people would have been saved. Sure that is 20/20 stuff but her mission to save Hope got ridiculous and Hope dies anyway. There is no replay value for me and if I knew going in what I was in for I don't think I would watch 13 episodes. Still the show is entertaining but frustrating at the same time, the more I think about what went down the dumber some of it seems.
