Yeah, agreed. They're like Seattle Seahawks cocky, it's disgusting. They're a good D, but nowhere near as good as the 2013 Seahawks D so maybe they should cool it with that a bit.
I'm actually surprised many seem so shocked by the loss, between all the injuries and the fact this one was in Edmonton, I figured the Eskimos would win. But just the way it went down is what's bugging me about it. Figured it'd be some 19-16 slugfest, not a shootout where the Stamps D completely disintegrated. I'm annoyed by all the passing calls with the goal line in sight, but I'm having a tough time pinning this one on the O when your opponent scores 45 and you break 30 yourself.
When you come into a game beat up and on the road like that, you NEED to win the turnover battle. 4 TO's - especially that one early on the return deep in their own zone that basically gifted EDM 8pts right at the start - pretty much has the writing on the wall that you're going to lose.
Just a sloppy, uncharacteristic game by the Stamps, which is why this one's bugging me so much despite me picking the Esks to win. And those cocky bunch of idiots on the Eskimo D, bunch of '13 Seahawks wannabes. And their DBag coach, that guy has a very punchable face in those trendy Ray Ban's. Oh please light them up Burris..
