Ramo deserves some credit for his play of late. I still want him fired into the sun though.
He did this last year too. Had some real amazing highs and some wrist slitting lows. Not really an in between. It's why I don't like him. Looks really good right now but I have all the faith that he'll revert.
Not sure whats true and whats not about Ortio. All I know is from the outside (where we all are looking from), Hartley wants nothing to do with the kid. It's been painfully obvious all year. It would be nice to see him get a run of 10-11 like Ramo. But , ain't gonna happen. I'd rather just waive him so he can play some games omewhere else. You don't let a develping goalie rot on the bench for so fracking long. I don't care who says otherwise. It's frustrating because We've all seen the ceiling for Ortio, and he's not being allowed to reach it.
You wasted the asset, do the right thing and move it to the farm or let some other team manage it, because the Flames clearly cannot.
The real interesting thing will now be if Hiller gets to resume his block of starts that was interrupted when he got injured. If all is fair and Hartley is loyal to his vets, Hiller should get a chance too.
I hate this goalie crap the Flames have to deal with. It's frustrating as a fan seeing a good young prospect withering on the vine. Even if he is not good in practices, he needs games.
