Answer your question. How has Ramo started to look better? How does any goalie get into a groove? By sitting on the bench for weeks or playing?
Ramo was signed because BT thought they could move Hiller to SJ, that's out there, you can find it. When SJ acquired Jones BT was screwed.
Look, I'm not saying Ortio is the next great amazing goalie but the way he's been developed this year has been brutal.
Right now, there's no doubt in my mind that if they waived him, he would clear. and then struggle for awhile in the AHL. It's all about confidence and he has none.
