My first day in the car business in 1999. I am wearing those 'fashionable a the time' big clunky dress shoes. The Porsche salesman at the dealership, who dressed razor sharp, like $2000 tailored 3 piece suit that never goes out of fashion and wearing a $20,000 watch walks up to me, and points at my shoes and says "Those are nice shoes.................. Are they corrective?" That was the first words uttered to me by a co-worker, and it was absolutely hilarious.
Later that day, another salesman picks up my temporary business card, looks at my last name, and says "I could tell you were Polish, you have that typical fat Polak face."
