Except that's just not true. The "concerns" today are the same as they were a week ago and the same as they were the day Alan Kurdi became a household name and the same as they were the day before that.
I mean if Wall is truly concerned about the Paris attackers then he ought to be calling on travel restriction on those with French and Begium citizenship when you take into account the actual citizenship of the actual attackers.
It's political grandstanding on the part of Wall, pure and simple. If he was truly concerned we wouldn't be talking about this because Wall would have talked with McCallum and/or Trudeau not dumped an open letter out there. He's just pandering to fear.
