I find that there are generally a couple of really, really good steals to be had, but not if you're looking for something overly specific. If you're looking for a set of headphones, you might be in luck; if you're looking for this a set of Sennheiser wireless cans, you're probably not.
Basically, BF is good if you have some cash burning a hole in your pocket, canvass what's on offer, find the couple of excellent buys amidst the much larger volume of stuff that isn't, and decide, "Do I really want / need any of these things".
