Johnny Gaudreau (Previous contract: ELC) - RFA - Age 21 Resigned with the Flames: Deal of 6-8 years with AAV, $5-8 million

Sean Monahan (Previous contract: ELC) - RFA - Age 20 Deal of 6-8 years with AAV, $5-8 million

Jiri Hudler (Previous contract: 4 years, 16 million) - UFA - Age 31 Will not return as a Flame.

Kris Russell (Previous contract: 2 years, 5.2 million) - UFA - Age 28 Will not return as a Flame. Can be replaced with Kulak, Nakladal (if he returns)

David Jones (Previous contract: 4 years, 16 million) - UFA - Age 30 Will not return as a Flame.

Josh Jooris (Previous contract: 1 year, 0.975 million) - RFA - Age 24 Resigned with the Flames: Bridge contract deal for 1-3 years with AAV, $1-2 million

Karri Ramo (Previous contract: 1 year, 3.8 million) - UFA - Age 28 This one remains questionable. Should he continue his play of the last few games, he will be resigned for two years. If not, there are better options in the market or manegment decides to let roll with Ortio/X

Jonas Hiller (Previous contract: 2 years, 9 million) - UFA - Age 33 Will not return as a Flame.

Joni Ortio (Previous contract: 2 years, 1.2 million) - RFA - Age 24 Will return as a Flame with a bridge deal of 1-2 years with AAV, $1-2.5 million. Similar to his current contract. Should he be given a chance to start as a backup this year and fail, I doubt the Flames choose to resign him.

Joe Colborne (Previous contract: 2 years. 1.2 million) - RFA - Age 25 Resigned with the Flames: Bridge contract deal for 1-3 years with AAV, $1-3 million

(Other expiring deals include those for Derek Grant, Markus Granlund, Jakub Nakladal, Kenny Agostino, Tyler Wotherspoon, Bryce van Brabant, Drew Shore, Bill Arnold, Freddie Hamilton, Turner Elson, and Kevin Poulin).
