While this makes sense in theory, has it happened lately? The last young core pieces to be traded (that I can recall), were Forsberg, Hamilton, ROR, Stastny, Seguin, and Schneider. Did any of them return a core piece?
What was the last young star for young star trade? Hossa for Heatley?
