So Air Canada has updated their systems for Summer 2016 and here is the equipment scheduled to operate the overseas flights from YYC:

YYC-LHR 787-9 effective May 1
YYC-FRA 787-9 effective March 27
YYC-NRT 787-8 effective May 1
