The non-stop flights to OGG and HNL with Air Canada have already started for the season too. I believe the WestJet ones start around December 14th, they were to be operated by their new 767 but they are somewhat delayed and will be leasing an aircraft to fill in in the meantime.
Non-stop can be long with kids but I much prefer it to stopping on the way. LAX is the worst.
