See above. There is no bet. I'm not saying Byron will be MSL. I meant his ability to make us regret something may possibly rival MSL. If he even achieves half of what MSL did, good for him, but no IMO way he matches the entire career of MSL. But making us regret could be as simple as being the GWG or making a great block on an open net on a tying goal on a must win game we need to win to enter playoffs.

So with your scenario, we regret giving up a single goal, or a single point in the standings.
With MSL, we regret missing out on the entire productive career of a player who will almost certainly end up in the Hall of Fame.
If you think these two regrets are equal or even comparable, you desperately need to go out and find yourself a sense of proportion.
