I also cant suggest the SFO routing option high enough.

We booked this flight on Aeroplan initially through Vancouver but AC decided to cancel all their Hawaii flights for some reason durring our departure so we got routed through LAX there and SFO back.

If the pricing was the same, I dont think I would ever travel through Vancouver again especially with a small child. The 2 hour/4 hour flights through SFO are great little flights.

Also +1 for United Economy plus, paid 30$ US per seat each way on the OGG routings in advance with seats D and F and had the middle unoccupied each time since our little guy was a lap baby.
