That age is probably a super age to go. He/she can snorkel on the tours and do alot of things so you arent limited by diapers, naps, and ev 2 hour feedings (hes off the bmilk but is a chunk at 107% height and 101% weight graph), and dont have to be home by 5 to feed at 530 and bath by 630 and bed by 7

There is a great ice cream place in the Whalers strip mall on S Kiheie road about across from Kamaole beach 2 - they advertise 101 flavours but the best is the "gourmet" ice cream. Really good. Milkshakes there are also good.

Also the Honolua? clothing company store next to Maui Tacos is a great place for clothing (same parking lot as Snorkel Bobs)

Walmart and ABC stores have inexpensive beach towels, we made the mistake of bringing our own not relying on the condo to provide and never ended up using them until the last day to shower at the YMCA.

If you are at all interested in the Maui Ocean Center - if you buy the day ticket on their website then the day pass turns into a week pass in case your little one really enjoys it then you can go multiple times in that week for free.

The other thing I thought was cool is the MOC offers sleepovers for kids and adults. You basiscally pay your entrance fee and then are able to "sleep over" at the aquarium. I have no idea about the logistics of it for sleeping bags etc but it sounded cool.

We saved MOC, Iao Valley for the last day.
