I came out of there with like 225 ammo for my fusion guns. And Paladin Danse will do all the fighting for you, if you're low on ammo heading in. I've been sitting pretty ever since (Laser Musket FTW. He also gives you a decent fusion rifle at the end of the quest).

Yeah that's the gun I'm using actually. And you go through the 225 fusion ammo pretty quick when you are fighting super mutants
